XPO Logistics Recognised by Forbes as One of the Best Companies to Work For in Spain for the Seventh Consecutive Year
The company reinforces its culture of inclusion with intergenerational leadership training and a new strategic internal development initiative in Spain
XPO Logistics, a leading provider of innovative and sustainable end-to-end logistics solutions across Europe, has been recognised by Forbes magazine as one of the "100 Best Companies to Work For in Spain" for the seventh consecutive year. This recognition not only celebrates consistency, but also highlights the company’s ability to adapt and evolve a corporate culture that listens to, learns from and grows alongside its employees.
The Forbes list, prepared in collaboration with Sigma Dos, is based on an independent survey of more than 2,000 employees of companies with over 250 staff in Spain. Aspects such as job satisfaction, organisational climate, development opportunities and the willingness to recommend the company as a workplace are evaluated.
In a constantly evolving business environment and in a demanding sector like logistics, XPO Logistics has remained true to its core: putting people at the heart of its strategy. Each year, the company introduces new ways to support and empower its teams, from digitalising training to strengthening mentoring programmes, and promoting diversity and inclusion as drivers of innovation and growth.
In 2024, the company launched a series of internal workshops aimed at its management teams in Spain, reaching nearly 150 leaders during its sessions. These sessions, designed and delivered internally, aim to foster a culture of effective collaboration between generations, in line with the values of inclusion that define XPO Logistics. Through practical activities, participants explored generational socio-economic contexts, active listening, communication styles, and the creation of inclusive spaces where all voices are welcomed.
"What puts us on this list is not repeating formulas, but reinventing ourselves with consistency," says Mayte Galeano, Human Resources Director - Southern Europe and Morocco, XPO Logistics. "We actively listen to our teams, adapt our tools and evolve alongside them. This recognition, year after year, is a sign that we are on the right track, but also a reminder that our commitment to people never stops."
In addition, XPO Logistics is developing a key strategic project to continue driving internal growth. A new role is being introduced to support employees in their early steps within the company, facilitate training in core processes and provide guidance for internal mobility, particularly for those identified as future leaders.
XPO Logistics currently employs more than 1,400 people in Spain. Over the past year, the company has delivered more than 13,000 hours of internal training, reinforcing its commitment to continuous professional development. This investment in talent is supported by initiatives such as XPO University, the Junior Talent Program and the mentoring scheme for women leaders (Women in Leadership Program), all of which remain active today and underpin a culture of growth from within.
With this new recognition, XPO Logistics reaffirms its position as one of the most valued employers in Spain, proving that leadership in logistics can be driven through people.
