XPO Announces Olivier Mirio as Sales and Marketing Director in France
Appoints 30-year supply chain executive to lead XPO’s go-to-market strategy for end-to-end solutions
XPO, a leading provider of innovative transport and logistics solutions in Europe, has announced the appointment of Olivier Mirio as sales and marketing director in France, effective immediately.
He reports to Bruno Kloeckner, XPO’s managing director in France, who commented: “Olivier’s deep knowledge of our sector and the full range of our capabilities will cement our position as a mission-critical partner for our customers. His strategy of providing large customers with integrated, end-to-end solutions has positioned XPO to capitalize on the growing demand for single-source service providers.”
Olivier Mirio joined Norbert Dentressangle (now XPO) in 1996, and held various management positions before being appointed to lead XPO’s national accounts organisation in France in 2021. In that role, he led the realignment of the organization by customer verticals, allowing each account manager to focus on specific industries and sell a full range of tailored solutions. This strategy accelerated the development of XPO's end-to-end service range in France, including palletized distribution, full truckload transport, last mile and warehousing.
Mirio began his 30-year management career in business development with Dachser Group in the United Kingdom and DHL in France. He holds a degree in economics from ESSCA School of Management.
