XPO Logistics Announces Alliance with Florida Universitària to Promote Talent Development with New Transport Management Degree Programme

The company will open its facilities to students who want to learn more about careers in the transport and logistics sector 

XPO Logistics, a leading provider of freight transportation services, has announced a new partnership that expands its initiatives for the education and recruitment of talent in Spain. XPO will play an active role in a new degree in Transport and Logistics Management offered by Florida Universitària, an official qualification linked to the Universitat Politència de Valencia (UPV). 
Under the agreement, XPO will support students in the Valencian Community in key areas:

  • The company will establish an internship agreement for students enrolled in either of the transport and logistics degree programmes offered by Florida Universitària ¾ the new management degree or the current higher education cycle;
  • Students will benefit from professional training, internships and access to job opportunities with XPO in Spain;
  • XPO professionals will participate in classroom sessions tailored for students enrolled in each degree programme; and
  • Student groups will visit XPO's facilities to get to know the inner workings of a national transport company in Spain.

As a member of Florida Universitària’s Advisory Council of the Area of Transport, Logistics and Mobility, XPO makes its expertise available in Spain to attract talent to the sector. The Advisory Council is comprised of leading companies in transport and logistics operating in the Valencian Community, as well as business associations, industry professionals and relevant institutions.
