XPO Logistics, a leading global provider of transport and logistics solutions, has appointed Jean-Emmanuel Mongnot as managing director, transport–France. Mongnot has responsibility for the growth and economic performance of the company’s transport operations in France, including full truckload, less-than-truckload (LTL), global forwarding and last mile. He is based in Lyon and reports to Luis Gomez, managing director, transport–Europe. 

Mongnot has more than 30 years of operations and sales experience in the transport industry, including parcel, LTL and full truckload, with specific expertise in the chemical and automotive sectors. Prior to joining XPO, he held executive positions with several French-based multinational companies. He holds a post-graduate (DESS) degree in business administration from the Caen Normandie University.
