XPO Logistics follows through with its commitment to young talent with 185 apprenticeships to start in the academic year of 2025
140 recruits will be hired for the start of the 2025 academic year, and 45 students on work-study programmes will continue to work for the company, bringing the total number of apprentices to 185
XPO Logistics, a leading provider of innovative and sustainable end-to-end logistics solutions across Europe, is renewing its commitment to apprenticeships, with 140 open positions for the start of the 2025 academic year. Work-study programs are at the heart of XPO Logistics' recruitment strategy and skills development. Once again, the company will offer various opportunities to students in the transport and logistics roles to prepare them for future professional challenges.
The positions include operator, operations assistant, truck driver, human resources assistant, administrative agent, freight forwarder and sales assistant. These opportunities are open to all, men and women alike. In 2024, for the third consecutive year, XPO Logistics received the HappyIndex®Trainees label attributed by ChooseMyCompany, recognising its commitment to developing and progressing apprentices and interns. This distinction is based on anonymous opinions highlighting the quality of the management, the organisation and the opportunities offered by the company.
Gaëlle Provensal-Raoux, Human Resources Director – France, XPO Logistics, said: “Every year, we welcome a large number of young people on work-study programmes to train them in essential transport and logistics jobs. These positions offer concrete and lasting perspectives in a fast-changing sector, whether at our operational or administrative sites. More than ever, apprenticeships are a way forward to support these changes and prepare the professionals of tomorrow.”
At XPO Logistics, apprentices benefit from a tailor-made onboarding program, facilitating their immersion and success within the company. Internal committees identify the most promising profiles, which then encourage permanent hires. In 2024, 34 work-study students joined XPO Logistics on permanent contracts, while 72 continued their work-study programme. Dedicated days are organised for work-study students and their tutors to reinforce this dynamic, encouraging exchanges and sharing best practices.
As a signatory of the French Diversity Charter, XPO Logistics is reinforcing its commitment by recruiting many profiles, from CAP to Bac +5, for nearly 50 professions throughout France. These efforts reflect XPO Logistics' desire to promote inclusiveness and value diversity within its teams.
