For second year in a row, company organized XPO Women Driver Forum in France in connection with famous truck race « 24h du Mans Camions » 

XPO, a leading provider of innovative and sustainable end-to-end logistics solutions across Europe, held its second annual XPO Women Driver Forum in France on September 22, in advance of the famous truck race « 24h du Mans Camions ».

The objective of the XPO forums is to listen and collaborate with our female drivers to identify opportunities and obstacles to engage more women in transportation and logistics careers. The first forum, organized in September 2022, resulted in concrete action plans to work toward these goals.

XPO Logistics is working hard to bring more female drivers into the workforce, which has traditionaly been a predominantly male-dominated profession. Our goal is to encourage greater diversity and inclusion while at the same time responding to the acute driver shortage facing the industry.

Gaëlle Provensal-Raoux, Human Resources Director - France, XPO Logistics, said: “Coming together to exchange ideas with our female drivers is a golden opportunity to celebrate their many successes at XPO and also learn what we can do to make the industry a more welcoming and inclusive place. Working together is the best way to move forward.” 

Also participating in this and last year’s forums was Jennifer Janiec, truck racer and French Champion in 2019 and 2022. This year, she signed a partnership agreement with XPO Logistics to spread the word about the importance of including more women in transport and logistics. Her career is an inspiring example of how everyone has a place in our industry.

In 2021, XPO signed the French Diversity Charter from Entreprises pour la Cité to underscore our commitment to diversity and inclusion.
