XPO Logistics, a leading provider of freight transportation services, has been named one of the Most Socially Responsible Companies in France for 2022 by Statista, an independent global data portal. This is the second consecutive year that XPO has been recognized for demonstrating strong corporate social responsibility (CSR), following a detailed analysis of 2,000 businesses, as published by Le Point magazine.

Jean-Emmanuel Mongnot, managing director – France, XPO Logistics, said, “We thank Statista and Le Point for recognizing that social responsibility is at the heart of our corporate culture. As a transport leader in France, we are committed to staying at the forefront of the social and environmental evolution of our industry.”

In October, XPO pledged its commitment to the six articles of the French Diversity Charter, including diversity training and inclusive recruitment practices. The company is also a signatory of France’s CO2 Charter, provides eco-training for drivers, and makes substantial investments in alternative fuel fleet, including natural gas-powered and electric vehicles. Additionally, XPO uses its XPO Connect digital freight platform to reduce fuel consumption through efficient routing, and invests in onboard fleet technology to improve driver safety.

Statista determined the Most Socially Responsible Companies by rating each candidate on three areas of corporate responsibility — environmental, social and corporate governance — using key performance indicators. Final scores were derived from a combination of publicly available CSR information and a public perception survey.
