XPO Logistics, a leading provider of freight transportation services, has expanded its partnership with Miniso in Spain and Portugal with the launch of a nighttime distribution service. Miniso offers a wide range of quality lifestyle products at affordable prices through stores in 80 countries. The fast-growing retailer has integrated XPO’s transport solutions into its strategic growth plans in Iberia.

XPO’s nighttime distribution is an efficient and sustainable urban solution that reduces noise and carbon emissions during times of high congestion. Trucks make timed deliveries to replenish point-of-sale inventories before businesses open each day. The company currently delivers overnight to about 5,500 customer locations in Iberia, with growing demand for this service.

In addition to nighttime deliveries, XPO makes weekly stock deliveries to nearly 50 Miniso stores during business hours. All deliveries are tightly controlled within hourly timeslots, and shipments are tracked from end to end on the XPO Connect digital freight platform, giving Miniso full traceability of its stock in real time.

Massimo Marsili, managing director – Southern Europe and Morocco, XPO Logistics, said, “We’re proud to support Miniso’s strategic growth in Iberia with our unique combination of expertise, capacity and digital capabilities. As we expand the scope of our partnership, we’re enhancing product availability for Miniso customers and ensuring consistent service to stores year-round, including the holiday peak.”

Ana Rivera, CEO of Miniso, Spain and Portugal, added, “This partnership enables Miniso to leverage XPO´s leading distribution network and proven expertise in delivering results for companies such as Miniso, with constantly changing needs due to fast-growing national footprints. Miniso, with over 5,000 different products and stores throughout Iberia, requires a very capable logistics ally, and we are confident that XPO will continue to deliver moving forward.”

XPO’s pioneering nighttime delivery service is utilized by leading brands in the fashion retail, accessories, cosmetics and automotive dealership sectors, with widespread benefits to other types of businesses. The company is the largest provider of pallet distribution in Iberia, moving approximately five million pallets annually with a network of over 60 transport and distribution centers in the region.
