A XPO Logistics anuncia a nomeação de Maryclaire Hammond a Directora de Recursos Humanos para a divisão da GXO Logistics

A XPO Logistics (NYSE: XPO) anunciou que Maryclaire Hammond será Directora de Recursos Humanos da GXO Logistics,Inc., a prevista cisão planeado para a divisão logística da XPO. Será responsável pela organização dos recursos humanos da GXO uma vez concluída a cisão.  As prioridades de Maryclaire Hammond residirão no recrutamento de funcionários e a defesa da diversidade, igualdade e inclusão. Trabalhará na sede da GXO em Londres. 
 
Maryclaire Hammond integrou a XPO em 2019 enquanto vice-presidente sénior dos RH para a América e Ásia-Pacífico,e supervisiona a cultura de trabalho de mais de 22.000 colaboradores da divisão de logística da XPO. Tem mais de 20 anos de experiência nos departamentos de recursos humanos de empresas da lista anual Fortune 100, como a BP, onde foi Directora de RH da BP Fuels na América do Norte.  Anteriormente, tinha sido vice-presidente de RH na Honeywell Turbo Technologies (na Suíça) e passou 14 anos a trabalhar no Reino Unido. 
 
Maryclaire Hammond é detentora de um MBA autorgado pela Universidade de Portsmouthe, um mestrado em línguas e literatura estrangeiras pela Universidade do Estado de Washington, e uma licenciatura em Espanhol e História pelo Hillsdale College.

Como já foi anunciado, a XPO planeia concluir a cisão do seu segmento de logística para formar uma empresa independente cotada publicamente no segundo semestre de 2021. Sendo o segundo maior fornecedor de logística contratual do mundo, a GXO estará bem posicionada para capitalizar os principais ventos favoráveis da expansão do comércio eletrónico, a procura de automação por parte dos clientes  logísticos e uma tendência crescente para o outsourcing da cadeia de abastecimento. Actualmente, as operações são realizadas em aproximadamente 890 agências em 27 países.
