XPO appoints Remy Guyot as KeyPL business development director in Europe

XPO, a leading provider of freight transportation services, has announced the appointment of Remy Guyot as business development director, KeyPL® – Europe. KeyPL is XPO’s proprietary, state-of-the-art 4PL solution for end-to-end management of customer supply chains.

Guyot reports to Jean-Marc Lami, XPO’s managing director, KeyPL – Europe, who said: “Remy´s experience with logistics optimisation is a unique value for customers who want our fully integrated 4PL solution or control tower transport services. His leadership of our KeyPL market plan will enable us to expand our footprint in Europe.”

Guyot has a dual background in industrial engineering and sales, with experience in strategic change management for transport and logistics operations in the United States, Mexico and China. He holds a graduate degree in engineering from Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Mines de Saint-Etienne (EMSE) and a master’s degree in financial engineering from Emlyon Business School.

Through its KeyPL solution, XPO offers a 4PL service tailored to customer verticals, including technology, automotive, chemical, building, food packaging and distribution. The company provides customised transport planning and procurement, digital tracking of shipments in transit, freight payments and reporting.
