XPO Logistics, a leading provider of innovative and sustainable end-to-end supply chain solutions across Europe, and Agefiph announce the signing of an agreement at the SOLUTRANS trade show. The agreement, which will run for three years from 1 January 2026, aims to strengthen the policy of inclusion and retention of people with disabilities in employment.

With more than 6,600 employees in France spread across more than 100 sites, XPO Logistics wishes to structure its disability policy on a national scale, improve its employment rate for people with disabilities and raise awareness among all its teams. Today, XPO Logistics employs 292 people with disabilities, representing 4.37% of its total French workforce. With the support of Agefiph, the company aims to move closer to its target of 6% of workers with disabilities across all its sites by the end of the agreement.

Already fully committed to inclusion and equity, the company has set up a disability policy management system based on a network of 60 disability advisors spread across all its establishments. This system ensures local support for employees, professionalises the management of disability issues and promotes awareness and training among teams. Under the agreement, a steering committee will meet every six months.

The agreement provides for concrete measures in several areas:

  • Awareness and training: the executive committee, managers, HR teams and disability advisors will benefit from dedicated training modules offered by Agefiph to strengthen their skills and commitment to an inclusive culture.
  • Recruitment and integration: XPO Logistics intends to develop a national recruitment network in conjunction with Agefiph, Cap Emploi and France Travail. The company has set itself the goal of hiring 30 employees with disabilities on permanent contracts, as well as more than 50 interns, notably through DuoDay, by the end of the agreement.
  • Job retention and career paths: appropriate adjustments, personalised support and compensation measures will enable employees with disabilities to be supported throughout their careers.
  • Collaboration with the protected and adapted sector: the company will strengthen its partnerships with adapted companies and the protected sector in order to promote inclusion at all levels of the supply chain. In particular, it is committed to creating a directory of suppliers and partners to facilitate their identification and selection for future purchases.
  • Communication and promotion: internal and external communication initiatives will be carried out to raise awareness among teams, promote initiatives and promote the XPO Logistics Group's disability policy.

"The logistics sector is complex and remains difficult to access for many people with disabilities. This new agreement with a leading player in this sector is a real step forward. XPO Logistics has been fully committed to inclusion for several years, and the tools developed by Agefiph will enable it to further professionalise its disability policy and achieve its objectives," says Caroline Dekerle, Managing Director of Agefiph.

" This agreement embodies our desire to make inclusion a long-term commitment. It is an approach that goes beyond the legal framework: it reflects our commitment to changing HR practices in a sector that has historically been difficult to access, by creating a more equitable working environment for all." adds Gaëlle Provensal-Raoux, Human Resources Director, France – XPO Logistics.

Awarded the ESG “Responsible Transport & Logistics” premium rating for the third consecutive year and recognised with a Gold rating by EcoVadis for the second year running, XPO Logistics is taking another step forward with this agreement. It extends the group's commitment to diversity, already affirmed by its signing of the Diversity Charter. Inclusion is one of XPO Logistics' five core values in Europe, alongside safety, respect, entrepreneurship and innovation.
