XPO Logistics continues to expand logistics footprint, growing its warehousing business in France 42% in 2023

With its warehousing network currently comprising 315,000 m2 across 20 sites in France, the company intends to offer a growing array of value-added logistics that complement its broad range of transport services to provide true end-to-end supply chain solutions.

In the warehouse, each battery is checked on receipt and, if found to be non-compliant, immediately removed from the building. XPO has in place a range of measures to ensure optimum safety, including the use of specific extinguishing equipment, a water reserve, team training and awareness-raising.

A site symbolising XPO ambitions in logistics 
 
The XPO site in Combs-la-Ville is the company´s largest warehouse in Europe. With over 46,000 m² of floor space, including 3,800 m² for offices, the site was chosen to support the business development of a key customer, which is a major player in the automotive sector in France. In just a few weeks, XPO Logistics teams found the best solution to get this critically important site up and running. All support services were mobilised: IT, project management, quality and sales teams. The site is now operating at 100% capacity, handling between 500 and 800 pallets per day, representing up to 35 truckloads.
