XPO, a leading provider of freight transportation services, has announced a major expansion of its Villeneuve-lès-Bouloc distribution centre by more than 1,800 m2. The total surface area of the site near Toulouse will now be 5,600 m2 with 77 docks, accommodating up to 770 daily deliveries. The site distributes palletized and less-than-truckload (LTL) loads in the Ariège (09), Aude (11), Haute-Garonne (31), Gers (32), Hautes-Pyrénées (65), Pyrénées-Orientales (66), Tarn (81) and Tarn-et-Garonne (82) departments, for companies in the retail, automotive, industrial and chemical sectors, among others.

This investment increases our capacity to manage growing volumes and meet the needs of our new customers, as well as those who have trusted us for years and whose growth we are supporting. Additionally, we have taken advantage of this expansion to adapt our processes to further improve the fluidity of freight flows through the larger facility, with input from our team.”
Other highlights of the Villeneuve-lès-Bouloc hub include:
· More than 78 trained employees, including 38 professional drivers, 20 dock workers, supervisors and a sales team.
· An inclusive workplace that encourages employees in the continuous improvement of operations and where safety is at the forefront.
· 100% energy-efficient LED lighting, with photovoltaic panels covering the roof of the extension.
· Wheel lock systems installed at all docks to safely secure vehicles in place.
