XPO Logistics Anuncia el Nombramiento de Bill Fraine como Director Comercial de GXO Logistics ante la Escisión Prevista

XPO Logistics ha anunciado que Bill Fraine será el director comercial de GXO Logistics, Inc, ante la escisión prevista del negocio de logística de XPO. Será responsable de liderar las actividades de lanzamiento al mercado de GXO, enfocándose en alinear el crecimiento con la creación de valor a largo plazo, una vez concluya la escisión prevista.  
 
Fraine se incorporó a XPO en 2011 como director de operaciones y gestión de cuentas, y actualmente es presidente de la división de supply chain - América y Asia-Pacífico. Supervisó la integración de varias adquisiciones de XPO y reestructuró los negocios en Norteamérica por sectores de actividad de los clientes. Antes de incorporarse a XPO, Fraine trabajó durante 23 años en FedEx, donde pasó de ser un manipulador en primera línea a director de ventas. 
 
Desde el primer día, GXO va a operar con una sólida cartera de clientes, entre los que se encuentra el 30% de las empresas de la lista Fortune 100. Fraine supervisará todas las facetas de la estrategia de ventas de GXO en sectores de actividad clave como el comercio electrónico, el comercio minorista, la moda y la tecnología de consumo. 
 
Brad Jacobs, presidente y consejero delegado, ha señalado: "Bill tiene todas las cualidades de un director comercial de primer nivel y un currículum que lo respalda. Me entusiasma verle liderar los esfuerzos de GXO para reforzar las relaciones a largo plazo con los clientes actuales, así como para añadir nuevas operativas de otras compañías de primer nivel”. 
 
Como se anunció anteriormente, XPO tiene previsto completar la escisión de su negocio de logística para formar una empresa independiente que cotice en bolsa en la segunda mitad de 2021. Como segundo mayor proveedor de logística por contrato del mundo, GXO estará bien posicionada para capitalizar los principales vientos de cola de la expansión del comercio electrónico, la demanda de automatización por parte de los clientes de logística y una creciente tendencia hacia la externalización de la cadena de suministro. En la actualidad, las operaciones se desarrollan en aproximadamente 890 centros logísticos en 27 países.
