Mavic, the French cycling brand specialising in technical equipment, has expanded its partnership with XPO Logistics, a leading provider of innovative and sustainable end-to-end logistics solutions across Europe, to include contract logistics. XPO Logistics will support Mavic in managing its logistics operations through an integrated solution combining warehousing, order fulfilment and transport. This approach will improve visibility of supply flows and strengthen coordination of Mavic’s logistics activities.

From transport provider to worldwide logistics partner

The partnership began several years ago with transport services in France and has gradually expanded across Mavic’s supply chain. In early 2025, Mavic extended the partnership to include Global Forwarding activities, such as the management of flows between its European sites, its subsidiaries in Japan and the United States, and its international customers.
Throughout the partnership, XPO Logistics has met Mavic’s high expectations for operational reliability, service quality and cost optimisation, alongside achieving broader efficiency goals.

An integrated supply chain model combining visibility, flexibility and efficiency

Mavic also wanted improved visibility into its supply chain, particularly for tracking and performance monitoring, as well as flexibility and adaptability from a global logistics partner. XPO Logistics’ proprietary software enables end-to-end tracking at every stage of the delivery process, meeting Mavic’s requirements.

A 5,000 sqm operation supporting Mavic’s European distribution

The operational site in Marigny-Saint-Marcel, near Annecy, France, where Mavic also has its headquarters, provides 5,000 sqm of warehouse space, sufficient to meet Mavic’s volume requirements and enable efficient operations.

All flows will be integrated into a unified operational framework to ensure excellent coordination between storage, order preparation and transport. Deliveries will continue to be carried out domestically in France and internationally across Europe to Mavic’s end customers, primarily specialist cycling retailers.

Alberto Morgando, Chief Executive Officer - Mavic Group, said: “XPO Logistics has proven itself time and time again to be the reliable, flexible and innovative partner that we need, and this is why we are delighted to be expanding the contract to cover a significant part of our global logistics requirements. We look forward to the efficiencies that the expansion of our partnership will bring.”

Laurent Kraffmuller, Vice President, Dedicated Supply Chain – Mainland Europe, XPO Logistics, added: “Mavic is an iconic cycling brand, and we are delighted to take our longstanding partnership to the next level. This expansion reflects the trust we have built over the years and our ability to provide the reliability, flexibility and visibility Mavic needs across its supply chain. We look forward to continuing to support Mavic as our partnership develops.”
