XPO, a leading provider of innovative and sustainable end-to-end logistics solutions across Europe, is offering training to ‘neurodiversity champions’ as part of its broad-based commitment to encouraging an inclusive environment. “Neurodiversity” refers to the diversity of individuals’ brains and minds and how they function.

XPO Logistics UK colleagues attending the training are either neurodiverse themselves or are interested in advocating for neurodiversity.

The training will explore neurodiverse experiences as well as legal and ethical considerations, and how to create neuro-inclusive environments. By identifying ‘neurodiversity champions,’ the training will raise awareness and create and drive any necessary changes across the business.

Lynn Brown, vice president, human resources – UK and Ireland, XPO Logistics, said: “XPO is leading the way in our industry when it comes to talking about neurodiversity, and we’re on a pathway to ensure that we are a neuro-inclusive employer. We’re finding that information and support in this area are limited for adults. We want to create an environment where all individuals feel welcomed and can bring their whole selves to work and feel supported. This commitment will help us remain an employer of choice for people everywhere.”
