XPO Logistics and Groupe FABEMI partnered to co-organize an innovative Safety Day last week at FABEMI’s headquarters in Donzère (Drôme) for employees on site. Safety experts from XPO and FABEMI used animation of workplace risks to demonstrate the safe operation of trucks, forklifts and other vehicles. All drivers, forklift operators and other employees on site were invited to attend.

Groupe FABEMI serves French construction markets as an industrial manufacturer of moulded and pressed concrete products and building systems. XPO manages loading and unloading at FABEMI’s Donzère plant, as well as deliveries to the company’s customers.

Jean-Pierre Bedel, CEO, Groupe FABEMI, said, “We have been partners with XPO for many years and are extremely pleased with their support of our operations. Safety is a common value for our two companies. We were keen to collaborate with XPO to enhance the safety of Fabemi employees during day-to-day activities.”

Jean-Emmanuel Mongnot, managing director, transport – France, XPO Logistics, said, “We are proud of our longstanding relationship with Groupe FABEMI. The recent Safety Day workshops leveraged our team’s expertise with supply chain operations. It was an effective way to reinforce the importance of zero accidents and risk avoidance.”
