Recommerce Group Chooses XPO Logistics to Manage Supply Chain Activities in France

Recommerce Group Industries, a leader in the second life market for smartphones and other digital devices, has selected global logistics leader XPO Logistics to manage its outsourced supply chain operations in France.

XPO will use a dedicated team of specially trained employees to handle the logistics for approximately 350,000 products annually. This includes the storage, order preparation, loading and shipping of reconditioned mobile phones and accessories from XPO’s site in Tigery (91) to consumers, retail shops and warehouses.

In addition, XPO will provide value-added services for Recommerce, such as inventory sorting and management, testing, cleaning, reconditioning, packaging and reverse logistics. XPO has developed a technology solution tailored for Recommerce’s specific needs related to the management of returns and the sustainable disposal of product waste.
