XPO Logistics, a leading global provider of transport and logistics solutions, has collected more than 600 toys and books during its annual holiday drive in France. The company has donated the items, together with trucking and pallet distribution services, to Emmaüs, an association that combats poverty and exclusion in France.

XPO has supported Emmaüs for several years through its less-than-truckload transport network in France. This year, the company expanded the drive to include corporate offices in Lyon, Beausemblant and Neuilly. Donations were delivered to Emmaüs in early December, allowing the toys to be distributed in time for Christmas.

Jean-Emmanuel Mongnot, managing director, transport – France, XPO Logistics, said, “At XPO, our culture encourages social responsibility. We feel privileged to partner with Emmaüs, as it gives our employees an opportunity to make a positive impact in their communities.”

Marie-Alix Pic, head of Emmaüs France partnerships, said, “The support we receive from XPO Logistics and other companies makes a huge difference in our ability to bring happiness to the people we care for. We thank XPO’s volunteers for once again contributing to a joyful holiday season.”

XPO has a long history of supporting socially responsible organizations around the globe, including the Susan G. Komen Foundation in the US, Bancos de Alimentos in Spain and community food banks in the UK.
